Grading Tracker

Log every card you send for grading, track its status through the entire pipeline, and record final grades and fees — all in one place.

What Is the Grading Tracker?

The Grading Tracker is a dedicated log for cards you've submitted to professional grading services. It covers the full lifecycle: from the moment you drop the card in the mail to the moment it comes back graded.

Supported grading services: PSA, BGS, SGC, CSG, HGA, and Other. You can log as much or as little detail as you want — only the player name, grading service, and submission date are required.

Status Pipeline

Each submission moves through a six-step pipeline. Use the Advance → button to move a card to the next status, or edit it manually to jump to any step.

StatusMeaning
SubmittedYou've mailed the card or dropped it off — waiting for the grading service to receive it.
ReceivedThe grading company has confirmed receipt of your submission.
GradingYour card is actively being reviewed by a grader.
GradedGrading is complete — waiting for encapsulation and return shipment.
ShippedThe graded card is on its way back to you.
ReturnedYou've received the card. Final grade recorded.

Logging a Submission

ℹ️Free plan: up to 3 active (non-returned) submissions at a time. Once a submission is marked Returned it no longer counts toward the limit. Pro plan: unlimited active submissions.

Go to More → Grading Tracker and click + Log Submission. The form has two sections:

Card Info

Enter the player name (required), year, sport, manufacturer, set, and parallel. These fields are independent from your collection — you don't need the card to be in your collection to log a grading submission.

Submission Details

  • Grading Service — PSA, BGS, SGC, CSG, HGA, or Other (required)
  • Grading Tier — Regular, Express, WalkThrough, etc.
  • Submission Number — the order/submission ID from the grading service's portal
  • Tracking Number — your outbound tracking number
  • Submitted Date — when you mailed it (required)
  • Estimated Return — optional target return date
  • Declared Value — the value you declared on the submission form
  • Grading Fee — what you paid to grade this card
  • Final Grade — fill in once returned (e.g. "PSA 10", "BGS 9.5")
  • Notes — anything else you want to remember

Tracking & Filtering

The Grading Tracker page shows all your submissions. Use the filter pills at the top to narrow by status:

  • Active — everything that hasn't been returned yet (default view)
  • Individual statuses (Submitted, Received, Grading, etc.)
  • All — full history including returned cards

You can also filter by grading service using the service dropdown.

Stats Bar

The stats bar at the top shows a quick summary when you have submissions:

  • Active — cards currently in progress
  • Returned (this month) — cards that came back in the current calendar month
  • Avg Grade — average numeric grade across all returned submissions with a final grade
  • Total Fees — sum of all grading fees you've logged

Dashboard Widget

The Dashboard includes a Grading Tracker widget that shows:

  • Total cards currently in progress
  • Breakdown by grading service
  • Your most recently returned card and its final grade

If you have no active submissions, the widget shows a quick link to log your first one. You can reorder or hide the widget from the Dashboard's Customize menu.

💡Tip: Fill in the Final Grade field when a card returns — the numeric grade is parsed automatically from strings like “PSA 10” or “BGS 9.5”, which powers the Avg Grade stat.
