Getting Started
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. The free tier requires no payment information. New accounts begin with a 14-day unlimited free trial, then the account settles into the 100-card free limit unless you upgrade.
What sports are supported?
Baseball, football, basketball, hockey, NCAA football, and WNBA are the main supported sports in the product and checklist data.
Can I use CardVersePro on mobile?
Yes. The app is responsive, works well on phones and tablets, and includes mobile-specific navigation plus a dedicated scan flow at /scan. It is a web app, not a native mobile app.
Importing
My CSV import shows column mapping errors - what do I do?
In the column mapping step, look for unmapped fields. Use the dropdown next to each CSV column to manually select the CardVersePro field it maps to. Columns you do not want to import can be skipped.
I imported cards and now have duplicates. How do I fix this?
Use collection filters to find likely duplicates, then delete or merge the extras manually. On future imports, review the preview step carefully before finishing the batch.
Does import support HEIC or photos from my phone?
CSV import is for card data only. For photos, use the upload tools inside the add or edit card flow.
Can I import from Beckett OPG?
Yes. Export to CSV, open the import wizard, and review the suggested mappings before importing.
Market Pricing
Why does Get Price return no result for my card?
Pricing depends on finding usable sold comps. Rare, very new, or badly labeled cards may not have enough matching listings yet. Cleaner player, set, insert, and parallel data usually improves results.
How old is the pricing data?
Pricing uses a mix of live fetches, in-memory cache, and sold-comp snapshots. Recent pricing results are typically reused for up to 12 hours, while sold-comp snapshots can last longer when there is usable data. Dashboard Refresh refreshes dashboard panels, but it does not force a fresh re-price for every card in your portfolio.
Does the price include shipping?
No. Market pricing is based on listing prices rather than total shipped cost.
Why is my 30-day gain/loss blank on the dashboard?
That metric needs historical pricing data. New accounts or newly priced cards need time before the comparison becomes meaningful.
Photos
What image formats are supported for upload?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC are supported. Images are processed into optimized sizes for the grid, preview, and full-size viewing.
Image search returned wrong results - how do I fix it?
Check the card's player, year, manufacturer, set, and parallel fields first, then search again. Better card metadata usually leads to better image matches.
How much photo storage do I get?
The app supports photo uploads on both free and Pro plans. Images are compressed and stored in optimized sizes, but the exact number of photos you can store is not presented as a fixed public quota.
Binders
How many binders can I create?
Free accounts can create up to 3 binders with up to 10 pages each (9 slots per page). Pro accounts have unlimited binders and pages.
Can I share a binder publicly?
Public sharing is a Pro feature. On a Pro account, open the binder editor and click the 🔗 Share button — a public read-only URL is generated and copied to your clipboard. Free accounts can still create and edit binders, but the share button is gated to Pro.
How do I add a card to a binder from the collection?
Right-click any card row in the Collection View and choose Add to Binder. A picker shows your binders — clicking one places the card in the first available empty slot across all pages. A toast confirms placement with an Open Binder shortcut.
What happens if all slots in a binder are full?
If there are no empty slots on the current pages, add a new page with the + Page button in the binder editor header. Free accounts can have up to 10 pages per binder (90 total slots); Pro accounts can add unlimited pages.
Can I reorder cards inside a binder?
Yes — drag a filled slot to any other slot. Filled-to-filled swaps the two cards; dragging to an empty slot moves the card there. The drag engine is the same dnd-kit system used for the pinned cards carousel.
Account & Data
Can I export my entire collection?
Yes. Use the collection export tools after clearing any filters you do not want applied.
If I cancel Pro, do I lose my cards?
No. Your cards stay in the account. If you are over the free limit when Pro ends, you keep the cards you already have but cannot add more until you are under the limit or subscribe again.
How do I delete my account?
